Yente collaborates with Kirikkale Uni. on unmanned ground vehicle!

Ankara – Continuing its work in defense technologies, YENTE sponsored Kırıkkale University's unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) that will compete at TEKNOFEST 2025.

According to the company, the vehicle, designed by a team of students and academics under YENTE’s sponsorship, was brought to life at the company’s production facilities.

Equipped with a shock-absorber system to adapt to various terrains, the vehicle was designed to successfully complete water crossings and obstacle tests on the ‘Z’-shaped race track.

The UGV features a laser-targeting system capable of firing and can operate in both manual and autonomous control modes.

The TEKNOFEST Unmanned Ground Vehicle Competition will take place from September 3–7 at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University.

Davut Yavuz, CEO of YENTE, stated that they are pleased to support young innovators. He added, "For us, this project is not just a competition but a step toward involving future engineers in the technology production process. It represents one of the most concrete examples of university-industry collaboration."
