ISTANBUL (AA) – Yente Inc. has developed an alternative system to traditional firefighting methods with its next-generation fire drones.

According to a company statement, the technology allows direct and precise intervention up to 1 kilometer into the heart of a fire.

Yente’s heavy-duty drones can deliver fire hoses directly to the blaze, enabling fire trucks to release 5 tons of water per minute. This is equivalent to directing as much water to the flames as a firefighting aircraft every single minute.

The system operates in coordination with mobile water tankers deployed on-site. Additionally, the firefighting effect is significantly enhanced by organic-based fire retardant chemicals added to the water.

Currently in the testing phase, Yente announced that mass production is planned within the next six months, making the system ready for field deployment. The technology is expected to be actively used in high-risk fire areas during the 2026 summer season.

The company aims to expand its application beyond Turkey to countries facing forest fire threats in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

In the statement, Yente Inc. Founder Davut Yavuz emphasized that they do not just extinguish fires but can intervene directly at their core.

Yavuz highlighted that the drones work in synchronization with fire trucks to reach points that traditional methods cannot access within seconds, saying: “With a water capacity of 5 tons per minute, we can intervene in the deepest parts of the forest without using an airplane. This system will minimize loss of life and property, representing a revolutionary innovation.”
